With the Pakistan women’s team currently on their tour of England and Ireland, the Stani Army’s very own Sheikh of Pakistan went to drum up some support and get behind the girls against Ireland in Solihull.
In a tour which has so far seen the Pakistan women claim their first victory over England in any form of the women’s game with a one-run win in a T20 at Loughborough, the ladies did not disappoint in Birmingham either with crushing victories over the Irish in two T20s and one ODI respectively. No doubt the extra support drummed up by our Sheikh would have helped the team feel more at home.
The team will now travel to Dublin where they will play a T20 on the 16th and two ODIs on the 17th and 19th of this month against Ireland. So look out for them and help fly the flag for our women’s team!
